    Key requirements for this role include:
    • tertiary qualification in interior design and eligibility to be a member of the DIA;
    • minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in all aspects of residential interior design (soft and hard renovation);

    Your Responsibilities

    • Part and assembly design, from concept to detail design to manufacturing introduction

    • Thermal and mechanical simulation modelling using ANSYS then experimental testing of prototypes to verify
    • Creation of control and test plans for component, sub assembly and product level assessments
    • Coordination with Industrial Design, Category Managers and the Quality Team to ensure all requirements are met
    • Working with the internal Engineering Team, including Electrical Engineers and Firmware Engineering Team to integrate electromechanical systems
    • Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers and suppliers to transition concepts to production

    Your Experience

    • Circa 10 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment – all industry sectors considered
    • Proficiency in CAD modelling, Solidworks experience - highly valued but not required
    • Strong analysis skills, including structural and thermal, Ansys experience - highly valued but not required
    • Experience bringing a product or assembly through its entire lifecycle – concept to manufacture
    • Ability to design for a wide range of fabrication and manufacturing processes
    • Experience with product and process validation
    • Detail oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills

We produce original Australian furniture, selling mainly to interior designers and architects in Australia and Internationally.     As a Sales Coordinator you will be in charge of looking after enquires and updating clients on their orders. The role is a mix of working autonomously as well as working closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator + Design, Marketing and Production teams.     Core Responsibilities

    We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to help continue to grow our business in the Architecture & Design Industry in Sydney. This role requires building strong relationships with our database of Architects, Interior Designers as well as actively pursuing new clients within the industry.

    You will be responsible for sales by actively maintaining regular contact with clients, build relationships, discuss/consult product ranges suitable for up and coming projects/tenders. You will be well remunerated with a salary package plus structured commission. Ideally you will have design-based commercial furniture sales experience and/or 2+ years within the A&D sector.

    Reporting to the BDM, the duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

    • Day to day management of key A&D accounts including keeping informed of key projects and upcoming tenders.
    • Enter sales quotations, tenders and leads into our CRM system and maintain account progress through to order confirmation.
    • Achieve set KPI’s and sales targets while maintaining agreed margins. It is expected that you will spend on average 50% of your time in the marketplace and achieve an average of 15 quality calls/visits per week.
    • Maintain and provide showroom assistance where required.
    • Provide monthly accurate sales reports including current quote pipeline, reporting on current industry behaviours and market forecasts, directions for sales growth, contact activity and product feedback.
    • Opportunity generation via personal and team relationships and regular contact and networking activities. Note some of these events may include openings, trade fairs and exhibitions that are outside of normal 9-5 working week.
