DIA SA/NT Awards Winners Announced

Now in its 28th consecutive year, the DIA SA/NT Awards are a unique program spanning multiple disciplines, including entries from the Built Environment, Communication, and Product Design categories.

Each year the Awards attract an outstanding collection of projects from the South Australian and Northern Territory’s energetic design community. The DIA brings together designers from multiple disciplines and encourages a healthy cross-fertilisation of ideas and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The Awards aim to evaluate, recognise and celebrate outstanding projects by South Australian and Northern Territory designers. They have the purpose of illustrating and defining today’s design standards and promote the work of members of the Design Institute of Australia and affiliated organisations to the public.

On Saturday 2 November, the annual DIA SA/NT Awards were announced during a celebration at the Grand Lodge of Freemasons, North Terrace.

More than 300 guests attended the ceremony, hosted by media personality Amanda Blair. The event was a celebration of local design and showcased the powerful impact our state has on Australia’s growing reputation as a design nation.
